A perilous undertaking indeed! For such a long book, I found the actual wrap up of the plot to happen incredibly quickly, leaving me wishing for more in a book that I was already wishing would end.

I liked when they rescued the little baby panda.

Pretty good book. The end is what threw me off, I understand that it'd part of the myth but it doesn't sit right with me that Circe fell in love with her sons half brother.

I liked "Today I Feel Silly". I liked reading the different Moods she feels. I liked the mood spinner on the end

I read a lot of historical World War II fiction, but this was quite different from other books. I have read involving Polish Jews, who were some of the most plentiful Jews killed during World War II, hiding in the woods of Poland, due to the courage of young woman who was raised in the woods and knew survival skills she was able to save many people in this harrowing story.
