I loved the characters in this book and that great loves can still be great loves even if they are not meant to be forever

This book was wonderful. I even cried at the end for a dog named Rontu in the book. Even thought this book is historical fiction, I was captivated by O’Dell’s imagination of this young girl’s story and experience completely alone on her island. It even makes me want to learn to survive on my own. I definately recommend this book, not just for children either. It made me reflect and appreciate natural beauty of the Earth and made me want to travel and explore even more. I really loved this read.

I really liked Daisys imaginary friend Posey because he did a lot of funny things.

Heartwarming book! If you are a dog owner/dog lover you will totally enjoy this exceptional book. Just a sheer fun book to read.

This book was amazing! I have been wanting to get back into reading so badly, and have not been able to find the right book. This book, however, drew me in by the mysterious title, and it did not disappoint. It was filled with fantastical creatures, relatable characters, and is very beautifully written. My favorite part about it was the way Chokshi intertwined love stories within the action of the book to make it subtle and suspenseful. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that loves fantasy, action, and a brilliant period piece.

I liked how he came from such a low point in his life, where he lost his true self to becoming a very strong Jew and changing his ways after.

This book was a good end to the four book series. I will read more from this author in the future.

So many twists and turns! I thought I had it figured out but I was so wrong.
