I loved thy is book. As someone who devoured all the American Girl books any time i could find them, their impact on me is deep and long lasting to the point that im finally following my love for history into a career. I loved reading about the ways others have been shaped by these folks and their stories

Picked this as we just went to Paris in June and Aveline has an interest in fashion and design. They thought it was interesting and we discussed corsets and how women used to dress in the past.

The Gilded Wolves

This book was amazing! I have been wanting to get back into reading so badly, and have not been able to find the right book. This book, however, drew me in by the mysterious title, and it did not disappoint. It was filled with fantastical creatures, relatable characters, and is very beautifully written. My favorite part about it was the way Chokshi intertwined love stories within the action of the book to make it subtle and suspenseful. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that loves fantasy, action, and a brilliant period piece.

I liked how it sort of started out as mystery and with questions. I feel like the answers to my questions were a little dragged out, but the ending (which I can usually predict) was not what I was expecting!

This book describes a women's experience during the Vietnam War and that era of life.its well written, inspiring, and informative. I only disliked the fabricated coincidences in the protagonists love life, only to that part do I have objection.

This book was about 7 girls who attend a finishing school for young ladies and one day suddenly their mistress is murdered by somone unknown. The girls are determined not to go back home so they cover up the murder and try to rule the school themselves. My favourite part of the book was when they figured out who actually murdered their teacher.
